Production scheduling
Once a proposal is approved, your project joins our production queue. Jobs are worked in order, and we follow up to coordinate installation timing as your project approaches.
Quality install
The crew protects the property during the job — covering landscaping near the home and doing a magnetic sweep for nails and debris — and cleans up daily, not just at the end.
Final walkthrough
We inspect the finished roof together, register the warranty, and stand behind the work.
Structural work, backed by real experience
Walkers Quality Roofing was founded together by cousins Jamison Walker (Chairman & Qualifying Officer) and Dylan Walker (Director). The 1,200+ roofs behind that experience aren't a company tally — they're personal, built one job at a time since the two of them were old enough to work. Dylan earned his on the roof itself, learning every way a roofing system can succeed or fail.
Jamison's came from a different direction: a career on the framing crews of large-scale commercial construction projects with a combined value exceeding $500 million, work precise enough to single-handedly cover what would normally require a five-person crew, and clean enough that project managers, homeowners, and engineers sought him out directly rather than going through his supervisor. Over that career he personally installed more than 1,500 windows, doors, and sliders, and completed code-compliance work on over 500 ADA-compliant bathrooms. He later ran his own residential remodeling business for several years — decks, siding, full-scale remodels — including entire houses he remodeled solo, start to finish.
That combined background — decades of roofing instinct, commercial-grade structural framing, and hands-on remodeling experience — is why Walkers Quality Roofing doesn't stop at the shingles. When a tear-off uncovers rotted decking, a damaged truss, or a real structural problem, the fix doesn't require bringing in a second contractor. It's the same precision, continuing into the next phase of the work.
Tear-off vs. overlay
A tear-off removes existing shingles down to the deck so it can be inspected and repaired before new roofing goes on. An overlay installs new shingles over an existing layer — many homes are limited to one overlay layer by code or manufacturer requirements. Tear-off is usually the better long-term choice since it lets the crew see and fix what's underneath; the right approach gets recommended after inspecting your specific roof.
Landscaping and cleanup
The crew takes steps to protect your property during tear-off and installation — covering landscaping near the home and sweeping for nails and debris with a magnetic sweep, daily. If you have delicate plants close to the house, mentioning it ahead of time lets the crew take extra care or gives you a chance to move them temporarily.
A material (manufacturer) warranty comes from the shingle manufacturer — it covers defects in the product itself. A workmanship warranty comes from us — it covers mistakes made during installation, like flashing done wrong or ventilation that wasn't actually balanced. Most roof leaks in the years after installation trace back to installation error, not a defective shingle, which is what makes the workmanship warranty the one that matters most day to day. Standard Walkers Quality Roofing installations carry a 10-year workmanship warranty; manufacturer material warranty terms depend on which materials are used and get spelled out in your written proposal.
